2015 Subaru wrx aftermarket seems diluted

Anyone know why there isn't seem to be as much cosmetic things comming out for the 2015 wrx vs the frs/brz? It only took less than a year for so many wide bodys, tail lights, and aftermarket headlights to come out for our twins. Buddy of mine really wants to swap out his tails for his 15 wrx and doesn't want to vinyl wrap it. Anyone know whats up? Some vendors say to sait until 2014 sema, and now theyre saying to wait for rally season to start. Iunno

The dam thing just barely hit the streets, give the aftermarket company's a few days to design. You don't want a product that was rushed anyways.

The FRS/BRZ aftermarket got a head start since Toyota made data sheets available to the aftermarket well before the release. Not sure that the same amount of info was released by Subaru for the WRX .

Probably because there are far better ways to spend money than wide body kits, tail lights, and headlights.

What WRX needs is power. S3 and M235i are faster.

You will see a preview of what's to come at the Tokyo Auto Salon in Japan in January. For the last couple of years the 86's have had JapanLands attention. If you see recent JDM magazines you have seen the tides turn to focus on the 86's and the new WRX/STI.

Hard to do but be patient. Stuffs are coming.

Wait, a nearly $30k family sedan doesn't have a large enthusiast aftermarket?

Shocking!

I'm not positive here, but it looks like cosmetic parts from a Toyota corolla would bolt right up

I think the '15 wrx was a couple steps backwards from the previous gen. Not sure minor cosmetic parts are going to help its utterly boring design

Had the twins not came with crappy altezza, chrome, ricer tailights we probably wouldn't have had such a rush for them in the beginning.

I don't think we actualy had anything 3-4month after the twins were out except for GT86/JDM BRZ parts and TRD/5ax/Sti kits... Sure we had previews and a lot of in the works but, nothing really "out."

I do agree the parts selection for the WRX is crap. Only as handful of sti/chargespeed looking lip kits and a shitty Blitz bodykit...
