I don't believe you can use these. the are the direct RAM address of the data location in the ECU. Each variant of the ECU rom for different countries may store this data in a different RAM location. Even newer USA ECU ROM's ie the B01C roms , store data in different locations in the ecu than the older A01C series. This requires you to have a device that can directly read individual ram addresses from the ECU using a different mode than what torque uses. The thread you linked and the ram addresses are the result of many hours of work by the ecu reverse engineer gurus over at RomRaider. Torque is a generic app and only sends requests for generic PID or Parameter ID codes from the ECU. Manufacturese provide a standard set of these codes and some manufacturese provide a few extra codes specific to particular vehicles for standard diagnostic devices (OBD readers) and dealer scantools ect to read. If the ECU code does not provide the PID then you won't be ab;e to read it with torque. you would need a device like Tactrix which can also flash ecu, that allows direct access to read RAM addresses, its a more sofisticated device than a straight obd code reader. www.tactrix.com http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62332 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OBD-II_PIDs |

Torque App Screens
Well I finally had some time to play around and build a couple torque screens. These are not my final screens. I will change some of the displays later, was just trying to get an idea of a layout.

Any input guys would be appreciated. Torque just can't/stop reading my car profile anymore in my SD. SD card is functional because I can still play music stored in my card. I cleared cache and data already from app manager and still no luck. 😢

How are people getting Oil Temp, I've tried the custom PID in post two and get no data and read further on that it's available as default.
I can't get an data via the Engine Oil Temp setting that appears in the list. Is there anything I need to setup / change? |

How does it attach?!
I have this Arkon mount but it's attached to passenger seat. I can't tell how yours attaches by looking at the pic you posted. Can you explain how it's connected? Thanks.

@CB390248
Looks like he mounted it like I did with my Ram mount. take the side panel off and there is two screws that you can use to mount it to.

Has anyone gotten more accuracy out of the fuel level PID from the second post?
I filled my tank today and the values were off: Empty (fuel gauge directly on the red empty line): Torque=1.5 Actual=1.2 (Based on 13.2-11.99 gallons filled) Full: Torque=12.5 Actual=13.2 (Based on tank capacity) Undoing the equation in post #2, the fullness at 12.5 gallons comes to a sensor readout of 94.69697. Does anyone know the technical output of this sensor, is 0 absolute empty and 100.0 absolute full? Or is 94.69697 the fullest the sensor will ever output. I thought about trying this equation to see if it will give a more accurate output: ((A/94.69697)*13.2) Just looking to have an accurate read-out for when my gas light is on and I'm trying to decide if I can commute home before filling up. |

Not sure how to export what I have developed. I am sure others would want to display different data points. If there is an easy way to export the screen I would be happy to. |
