The Greddy kit should be one of the easier ones to install, so my estimate might be a little bit high, but I would still budget for more.

Anybody heard anything about blowing stock catalytic converters with turbo kits on this car!? I heard this horror story recently and want to check if this was an isolated issue or are people activley switching to high flow cats to prevent this?? Especially greddy kit owners?

Yeah there is one, but that is way after the turbo, downpipe, and overpipe. What horror story are you referencing? I was talking about the one where the cat broke down and the metal from it destroyed a turbo because the cat was pre turbo.

Greddy turbo
Semi horror. The cat just blew out at the welds from the preassure about 2 days ago. So he has to replace with a highflow or remove altogether. He is local

Great little kit! I still am at 7psi, plan to go higher in a few years. As of right now I have 250 whp on dynojet and almost 0 lag. Its a beauty to drive. Its been on the car since december 2013. No problems so far

30+ track\time attack days and about 20k miles with the kit and it's still going strong. Just get your oil/radiator cooling figured out and it's a champ.

Hi, i'm new to turbo kits and planning to install this kit soon.
Do i need other extras like blow off valve, oil cooler or wastegate? I am planning to run 7psi at start but will increase later on probably, so would appriciate suggestions. |
