Slowly but surely! Got stuck for a week waiting for a turbo inlet gasket, but we are back in action!

Been keeping busy working on other projects lately, waiting on parts for the FR-S. The LS-Swapped 79' Trans Am is coming along nicely though!

Just looked over this, curious what brand intake manifold that is. It appears similar to the ones having flex issues is why I ask. Good luck with the project seems to be coming together nicely.

Twin clutch is setup. Long night, trans was a bitch and a half to get back in, but it's in. Will have more pics up tomorrow, hopefully with the turbo setup installed!

Do I spy three different radiators there? Lemme guess... a radiator, a transmission cooler, and an oil cooler? Not do mention the big ass intercooler.

Close! The cooler on the passenger side is actually being used as a secondary for the radiator, driver side is engine oil. No need for a trans cooler IMO. Oil temps in general were OK when I had this setup running last year, water temps however were often over 215 after just one pull. Would like to keep them down at 200.

I'm running 2 secondary coolers, one on each side of the bash bar. One is for coolant, the other is for engine oil

I wish, but after all the work going into this build and the bodywork planned for next month, I don't think I'll be willing to bash on it as much as I used to.
I do however have a second build going on in the background that I don't speak much of. E36 M3 with a wide body, angle kit, and turbo setup. You'll see that one on the track

The willingness to do whatever is exactly why I have the FR-S. With a more-expensive car, I'd actually worry about it. With the Scion, if the engine blows or something awful happens, it's not the end of the world. I was looking at a Ferrari 456 last night, but I just would never be able to drive one all out. I'd worry too much.
