That's some wishful thinking. I hope they come out with a High Preformance version with no sound deaphining, Blisten Suspesnsion, bembo brakes, and N/A 250+ hp with a nice redline. Also they should work with BBS to make factory forged wheels kinda like the on the Is-F

Also, if they could utilize the carbon build-up to produce diamonds that come out the exhaust tip and make it double as a hoover craft

a friend told me he's been said to the ratio power to weight ratio of the FT86 will be close to a ratio of BMW Z4 or Porsche Cayman...

If the power is 200 hp, it must be 1080 kg... i thing today, a modern car can't be so light...

He's been said that the price of FT86 will be 29.000 € (starting price with full option like GPS, etc...) I hope it's wrong

Alright, the 250hp thing might have been a little far fetched (a man can dream?) but everything else is 100% plausible. One of the Toyobaru test mules was spied with Bilsteins on it and the FT86II concept was seen with Brembo brakes on it. Countless high performance trims of sports cars have no sound deadening. Forged Wheels aren't too much to ask I don't think because they did come on the Is-F as an option and again it would be an OPTION not standard trim you know kinda like a Civic Type R, made in limited numbers. My dear santa consists of a Lexus Is-F, a Toyota Supra and a girlfriend thank you very much

I wish this car would have a power&torque/weight ratio like a base cayman. But I know it wont.

If it had power/weight ratio equal to a Cayman, there wouldn't be much of a point to buying a Cayman

A Z4 with the N52 engine wouldn't be hard to beat though, that car is fat, heavy, and not particularly powerful.

Some of the crap thrown around is utterly ridiculous sigh.

serious? trying to compare the production frs to the prototypes and an isf doesnt make anything plausable. not unless you expect a price tag thats comparable. budget sports cars dont come with brembos, bilsteins, forged rims and have to appeal to a much bigger audience than the few who dont want any sound deadening.

$50k, RMR, Flat 6, high quality fit and finish inside and out, all with Porsches hardcore R&D.

Pshh, screw all that. I could just buy a subiyota, they have the same P/W afterall. haha.

The Honda Civic Tyep R did it. I'm not talking about the base model or anything I'm talking about a special edition TRD model or something...Made in limited numbers. Some Examples
Fiat 500 Tributo Ferarri
Honda Civic Type R
Nissan GT-R SpecV

I'm not saying the base model should have Bilsteins, Brembos, No sound deadening, ect. But the Top of the line with all of the options-Why not? It could be called the Toyota FT-86 2000GT.

lol sorry but ur examples make me laugh you got one example that works for me (ctr) the Tributo Ferarri you listed is actually a 2nd tuning package on top of an already special edition Fait 500. the Tributo Ferarri starts off with the Abarth 500 and then FERARRI engineers tuned it from there. The SpecV is a supercar with a comanding price tag.

I hope they do it and toyota did promise there will be a stripped down version or trim or whatever that is gonna make us happy they went that far to make it light

Please dont call it the 2000GT that car is very special and if you wanna bring that name back it better actually make sense than on your AE86 spiritual successor
