And if anything, more his fault than yours, seems like he was following you so close that he made the same mistake in corner entry... that's like one of the biggest no-no's in racing/lapping, don't let the driver in front of you zone you into a tunnel.

It sucks that his glass got scratched but it ain't your problem.
@Jonsey This. It's flawed logic to think rocks are kicked up intentionally. If you want your car pristine, don't track it.

To me it looks like you were understeering through most of the turn and then you started to get into oversteer just a moment before going off. I think if there had been a couple more feet of track you would have had the ends swap places.

Unless it's a dedicated track car he will probably file a claim regardless and possibly get paid twice. In Florida windshield replacement is 100% covered with zero deductible.

It is possible that there was a transition from understeer to oversteer before going off, however, that doesn't necessarily equate to the ends swapping places. Thankfully our cars in general are very balanced and usually require only minor corrective action to control any slide.

My car is a weekend car, autox, trackday car. (I think I go to 5 or 6 autox, 2 or 3 trackdays a year). I don't want a hardcore racecar, but I don't want it to be completely a soft car. (Does that even make sense?) My goal for autox and trackdays is to have fun, not to shave milliseconds on my lapt times. Some people think I'm crazy for spending so much and not properly racing my car.... anyway...

I need alignment info for my setup. and if possible damper for settings.

My setup is:
NA engine (no FI, nor plans to get FI)
Yokohama AD08 225/40R18
Tein Street Flex (Damper set at 7/16 front 9/16 back for daily 10 front, 8 back of autox)
Sway Bars 19 mm front
Sway Bar 16 mm rear.
End links (front and back)
LCA (rear)
Toe Arm (Rear)
Rear diff support (Brace)
whiteline Bump steer kit

I've tried other people's setups and I find the car a little too twitchy. I want an easy to drive setup.

On the topic of my sway bars, both are perrin but I don't know if they are solid or hollow.

According to Perrin's spec, they way I have them set up:

Front 19mm Bar Hole #2 72% Stiffer than 18mm OEM Bar
Rear 16mm Bar Hole #2 65% Stiffer than 14mm OEM bar.

Based on the specs for perrin I could go:

Front:
PERRIN 19mm Bar Hole #1 25% Stiffer than 18mm OEM Bar
PERRIN 19mm Bar Hole #2 72% Stiffer than 18mm OEM Bar

Rear:
PERRIN 16mm Bar Hole #1 30% Stiffer than 14mm OEM bar
PERRIN 16mm Bar Hole #2 65% Stiffer than 14mm OEM bar
PERRIN 16mm Bar Hole #3 116% Stiffer than 14mm OEM bar

I am willing to change to a different hole if you guys think I would get better cornering.

FYI, if you want to see the local circuit:

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLfRtwzA_us"]Trackday from last year[/ame]

Most of it is 3rd, I think the fastest you can go on the main straight is about 110-120 mph. I was in the 1:15 range, and that was before I got most of my suspension stuff. I only had coilovers )settings were probably in the middle for dampers) and 18 inch Yokohama AD08s.

My buddy with the fastest gt86 clocks in around 1:09 (I think), with goodyear assymetrics, intake, springs and pulleys.

Man, that black car at the beginning is dangerous!

Stupid and suicidal are the words I'd use, pulling onto the track mid-corner without looking for oncoming traffic. I also didn't see anybody with flags. He should have been taken off and yelled at, if not beaten.

I think driver mods will make much more of a difference here than car setup, but what do I know.

he was a new guy. first sports car, first trackday. first everything I think.

The video is from a trackday that was sponsored so the usual fees were waived. So a lot of non-trackday people came to learn about their cars.

Even if some of them were first timers, it is pretty cool that you had a line of several 86s there!
