They use different colors depending on the pad compound, at least in my experience. Not that it matters, it burns off in a session anyway, lol

Cheetahs are what I use at work. In a heavy industrial environment they are great. (mining/smelters) They're also my glove of choice when on Lathe/Mills.

Thats them there. I run Large/XL but I have pretty decent sized hands. For most normal people a Medium is good. You do want them nice and firm as they do have a certain amount of stretch which makes the first 2 days of taking them off/on difficult but after that they fit, well like a glove.

My Carbotech's were black backing plates, for two different sets of brakes.

I think I ruined these rotors what do you guys think? Will it wear back to normal or do I have to replace it to avoid tapering every set of pads I install?

How'd you manage that one? You could have it turned. Probably not much more expensive to just replace it, though.

Having rotors turned might cost $20 a piece. That's way cheaper than buying new rotor rings.

I don't know, my last set of pads tapered. And I guess in turn they tapered the rotors. I started do pedal dance now but want to know if I should replace these to avoid ruining the next set of pads/my street pads.

xp10, but I think its a matter of the stability control since I wasn't doing the pedal dance at the time.

Never experienced uneven pad wear with XP12 and Sprint and never used pedal dance, doubt it's related. I believe that your calipers are pretty new too. Did you bed the pads? Pic of the brake pad surface? If you can catch a nail on any of the heat cracks, replace with new.

Ok, it may be time to have them serviced by Essex after 2 years, also if driven in winter/salt. I'm using blanks for more even surface wear, no brake ducts, Torque RT700.

I've never had rotors turned, but I would think the same places that turn one piece rotors.
That said, there may be something else going on you want to figure out before doing that.
