Gauging Interest in New Muffler Delete

Blue prints are being laid out and the creative minds are storming at J2motorsports. We are a new and up coming company that's been around for about a year. We are enthusiast so we know that you want nothing we wouldn't put on our own cars. I, myself, own an FR-S.

We are in the very early design stages for a new muffler delete for the FR-S/BRZ. It will most likely be dual exit with the option of a larger single tip or smaller dual tip.

This thread is nothing more than to gauge interest and listen to feedback. Thanks!

Already 4 dual tip options on the market that i know of:
Crawford
Mach V
Berk
Works

just saying unless you could somehow make them equal length like the one Nameless had a prototype of it seems like there are plenty on the market.

What I'd like to see and afaik, no one has done is a single exit with some type of block-off for the unused side to fill in the empty cutout.

I agree. If a new company was looking for a way to get into the FT86 market then be the first to make a nice carbon fiber, aluminum painted black, or plastic fill in for the empty cutout in the bumper. I can't believe that nobody has jumped on this business opportunity yet.

Your "creative minds" aren't working if all you can think to make is parts already on the market...

If you feel you have something that will revolutionize the muffler delete, COOL make it.

If you just want to be another ME TOO making a part already READILY available, just to undercut the other guys and make a quick buck well i guess do what you like but lets not pretend like you are breaking new ground here buddy

Thank you for your reply. As a Mechanical Engineer creative minds start off with the creation of new product as well as making older or current better, efficient, reliable and stand through the harsh conditions they go through. If a company already has a finalized product available that is similar and makes it better with more options for the end user then that is recreating the wheel to an effectiveness which the market demands.

JDMenrique and are in R&D mode to bring you several options other than just one. We will most likely have different tips in an arrange of sizes as well as burnt tips.

Please stay tuned with what going to be offering in the future.

I would have gone into further detail into why this post makes no sense but I would be wasting my time. If I made a full cat-back exhaust would I be "undercutting" those that have already made it? If GReddy or HKS come out with something that's already on the market would they be undercutting those before them? I guess they would be "ME TOO" product as well.

Listen, I'm a helicopter mechanic with a love for my car. If I feel I can bring something a little different to the table then why not? If you don't like it then don't buy it. Your post was pointless other than to belittle us. I was looking for interest and feedback, a simple "not interested" would have been appreciated, buddy.

Before you unload on someone, maybe try observing some basic grammar so we can at least attempt to take your [rude] comment seriously.

honestly, I'd love to see someone make a muffler delete with just a flange and a turndown.

This really is all I could ever want in a muffler delete.

OK selective readers in here i see...

Like I said if you are going to do something to revolutionize the muffler delete COOL, do it...I guess you were too busy being butt hurt to read that.

here's the deal ask for opinions you will get them...almost everytime...and you aren't gonna like them all so put on your big girl panties, and get over it.

you could have just as easily taken my comment as encouragement to revolutionize the muffler delete...or a challenge...attacking potential customers is probably not the best plan of action...your friend does a much better job of the whole "human interaction" bit...

I already have the Nameless muffler delete. Very happy with it. Only way I could see to improve on it would be to make it out of titanium, have it weigh a pound or less, and charge $200 for it.
