Awesome - just what I wanted to hear. Sounds like I could knock it out over the weekend.

Thanks!

I see that the BOV is an option... What is included with the kit as standard?

i think the avo billet bov is an option, i'v seen pics with a bosh plastic bov which works very well. No need for fancy aluml on a near OEM turbo kit.

Interesting. Since 'stealth' was one of the key elements AVO was striving for, will the standard BOV recirculate? I'm curious, as I'm part of a minority of turbo lovers who hate BOV noise.

IMHO, as long as it doesn't break and is reliable its a good option. But remember, this will save your compressor from surge, so why "cheap" out on a part when you are spending already close to 4K?

There are pics of the AVO mounted, it is located in a place where its not visible with open hood so it is still stealth. About the noise, I think at 5 psi, the noise won't be much.

Ours does recirculate, either 100% or 50/50, depending if you leave the plate on the back on or not. We've left it on on our test car for now. All the OEM units will definitely be a recirculate type.

If I want an aftermarket one that does not recirculate, will it bolt on or will I need a bracket or something?

It's going to depend on the unit. A design like the bosch one pictured above would slot right in without any issues. Other flanged designs would need an adapter plate of some sort.

I'm a bit confused. So the kit already comes with the Bosch one, right?

Also, I've noticed that the AVO BRZ has an upgraded LSD. Will we need to upgrade that too, or will the stock one do the job?

The stock one will be just fine.
