Reinstalled my tS badge today. Had the t coated in real chrome and repainted the S in Grimmspeed Cherry Blossom.

Also installed my STi Flexible Drawstiffeners today. Some notes on the installation:

Overall the process was very easy, just simple bolt ons.
1. Removed protective undertray.
2. Unbolt existing bolt and install RH and LH brackets. (Note on this: reuse existing undertray bolt to align bracket while tightening main bolt. Only reason why I mention this is because is was not super clear in the instructions. See pic pointing to bolt).
3. Install flexible rods with length adjusted to 366mm and then to 370mm
4. Adjust to spec's and torque rod bolts to 20nm.
5. Reinstall undertray.

Impressions:
WOW. This further allows the BRZ to eat corners for breakfast. The response on initial turn in is wonderful. The front end feels tighter and the car feels more nimble and controlled when entering a corner. Overall such a wonderful sensation. Highly suggest to anyone to install this simple mechanical improvement.

Are you going to keep it CARB legal or add headers to it as well? Hopefully still keeping that sweet cosworth catback.

The Cosworth catback is going no where. Idk if I can live without out it tbh haha.

And yes, I am going to run the stock tune from Harrop for a while, but eventually I would like to do the full exhaust with the Cosworth/Nameless 1.2 with resonator and the Cosworth/Nameless or ACE CS400 Headers.

Then, I'll be looking for a new clutch, injectors, fuel pump etc.

Then (perhaps in a couple years) look at going for a fully built engine. Thats MUCH later tho.

Sounds like a solid plan for sure!

I think the ACE CS400 headers would be a good set. I've considered switching to those

Yeah everyone seems to like them and comment on the gains that they make in the torque department.

So did you ever settle on which oil cooler you're going to get?

No, not yet. Most likely it would be a Perrin. I'd kinda like to pick up a used one for cheap, but after doing research and considering the driving I will be doing a cooler isn't 100 necessary yet.

I also like Harrop's design tho.

I'm thinking about getting the Cusco honestly. So if you wanna buy my perrin, you're welcome to it! But I don't really need a full on oil cooler as I rarely drive crazy. In fact, I almost feel as though I might be over cooling my car, especially during the "cooler" season.

Yeah that would be my concern too. Are you monitoring your oil temps or no? I will think about it. Between this, the supercharger install and possibly doing the wheel conversion I've got a lot in flux right now haha.

I haven't monitored my temps. I probably should though....
