Thank you. I picked it up from a company out of Germany. Here is the link to the part:

So here are some pictures from the prep and painting process of the EDM front bumper garnish in Grimmspeed STi Cherry Blossom Red.

1. I used 2000 grit sandpaper to prep the plastic surface for a primer.
2. I then applied several coats of a white primer intended for use on flexible plastics
3. After the primer I lightly re-sanded the trim
4. I then applied the Grimmspeed Red in several coats
5. After letting the paint cure I applied a protective clear coat (also intended for use on plastics). Let dry overnight before handling.
6. Finally I removed the supplied backing tape on the trim and replaced it with 3M. I could not find the exact width size I needed for the tape, so I had to trim it to order.
7. Finally I installed the painted and finished trim on my bumper!

*excuse the dirty car in the photos (better ones forthcoming)

I also decided to refinish my faux-tS badge in the proper STi Cherry Blossom. Basically used the same steps as above. I sent the "t" off to be properly plated with real chrome. Pictures forthcoming!

Was there any problems with the paint clumping at the bends when installed? Since the trim needs to bend at a pretty significant angle. Or is the flex primer enough to keep it smooth throughout even when bent

I was concerned about this too (especially with how the grimmspeed paint might react), but I had no problems at all. After handling and bending the piece it maintained a perfect finish. The paint didn't warp, chip or have any stress marks after application and maintained its original flexibility.

If you really pushed it and bent it at an extreme angle then no guarantees, but there is no reason why you would.

Overall the entire process was easier than anticipated.

Do you have a picture of it installed already? I would consider the bend of the grille where its installed actually pretty extreme haha. But if it turned out well, that's great. Good job! I want to get to this eventually but just don't have the time lol

Thank you! I do have photos of the trim installed and I will have them up shortly. The way the EDM trim is cut there is very little manipulation needed when installing. It may seem extreme when installing, but the OEM quality shines through and it's a perfect fit.

Time wise this project really didn't take long. 3 hours give or take plus the curing time for the paint. I was thinking this might evolve into a fiasco, but it ended up being simple!

Pictures are up in the original post. Excuse the dirt haha. Sure, I'd be down to paint you one! If you shipped a new garnish to my address we could work something out in terms of labor and go from there? I'd be willing to do a tS badge for you too if you'd like?
