So, I got the kit. I've been working on installing it. So far, here are my impressions:

Pros: Kit comes with just about everything you need, and I like the look of the door handle and the start button itself.

Cons: The kit utilizes a transponder immobilizer bypass which requires sticking one of your keys in the box, and hiding it in the dash. This isn't too big of a deal to me (and it easy to do), but I know some people prefer an electronic bypass.

The kit isn't quite plug and play. It comes with a harness to plug into the ingnition which is helpful, but you still have to tap quite a few wires in your car to get everything functional. The kit's instructions aren't great, and do not seem to be vehicle specific to our car. However, this won't be a problem as soon as I (or someone else) figures out the install and posts a DIY.

The main challenge is the wiring, and I've spent the last day looking through the brz wiring diagram to figure out which wires do what. I think I've made some good progress on that front, and as soon as I get the kit working I'll update.

If anyone is interested, here are the wiring instructions:

So far, I've installed the door handle, and the start button:

These were easy to install, although with the door handle you have to run two wires from the door into the cabin, which took a little bit of time.

The rest of the kit is all of this, which has some antennae that need to be hidden in the headliner and such, but that's fairly simple.

So, in the mean time I'll keep playing with it and let you all know when it is working.

If you hide a key inside the dash, whats to stop a thief from stealing your car if the immobilizer is already bypassed and disabled?

Or does the push button start have its own immobilizer?

Just to update, I have the ignition working on the start button. At this point, I just need to work out the wiring for the door locks, trunk, parking lights, and door chirp to get the full functionality.

It does come with a shock sensor, but I am not yet sure what that does (I'm thinking it is an alarm of some sort, but I've not tested it yet). There website has this to say on security:

"Is this system secure and safe for me and my vehicle?

The EasyGO Smart Key system is 100% guaranteed to be safe and secure for your vehicle. It has 2-way authentication, rolling code, and module encryptions built-in to prevent the Smart Key system from hacking. It also has a built-in vehicle security system to prevent any and all vehicle theft."

I suppose you could also remove the ignition cylinder completely if you are concerned about that. That would also get rid of the steering wheel lock.

To my understanding, EasyGO should act as it's own engine immobilizer. That's what the smart key fob and 2-way authentication is for. But I think of it this way, if a thief wants your car they will get it...

That's my dilemma too. I don't think I'm skilled enough to do the install myself. But I'm guessing the labour for someone else to do it will be hella expensive.

So, just to update, I was able to get the push start to work, but I am still having trouble with the keyless entry. I was able to wire the can high and low, the parking lights, and the horn, but I cannot seem to get the door locks or trunk release to work. Anyone else get this kit and have any luck? I emailed easygo for help, and their reply was to get a professional to install it. Wow, thanks for the great support. My main complaint with this kit is the lack of vehicle specific instructions, and I am pretty sure Easygo themselves haven't actually done a FRS install.

For the door locks I am wiring them as such:

The lock and unlock wires I am using are the light blue and pink found at connector ED2 in this diagram (Pin 15,16).

The trigger is the yellow black found at pin 18 in this diagram (connector HD1)

Anyone have any suggestions as to which wires I should be tapping for the door lock control instead?

I just get my easygo kit today and was able to wire the ignition harness. This part was kind of straight forward, except that the harness color labeling was totally wrong.

Thanks to 086A's post and diagram, I made the push button partially work.

However, can only use it to switch between "OFF", "ACC" and "ON", but not really start the engine.
I have not touch any wire related to ECU, maybe that's the obvious reason that I cannot start the engine.

Really sorta sucks that they didn't give vehicle specific instructions when they offer vehicle specific kits. And what kind of shitty customer service is just saying get it installed by a professional? That just tells me that they don't know their product well enough.

I hope you guys get it all working though, because I would absolutely want one.
