EasyGo Keyless Door system for FRS and BRZ

Disclaimer: Not affiliated with a vendor or trying to sell anything. Just helping those out that want some of the features we didn't get here.

Back when all of the SEMA pictures started popping up I noticed this system for keyless entry and push-button start was being made for the FR-S. Well, I haven't heard anything about it in a while and shot an email off to the manufacturer a few weeks ago. I just received this today:

"The EasyGO system for the FR-S will be available before the end of the month and can be purchased on Amazon.com. Thank you.

Customer Assistance"

Sure enough, it's listed on Amazon right now as out of stock, for 599 dollars.

It sounds like an awesome system IMO, and the biggest part for me is that it comes with an OEM quality replacement driver's door handle with the keyless entry button.

Found the picture in Phastek's SEMA thread:

edit: Prototype shot above has changed. No need to get OEM trim and relocate button like I said in my earlier post. Actual trim piece looks very similar if not just like the OEM piece. See below. Big win imo.

edit: Mustang picture removed. Actual pictures of what you get were put up on Amazon, so here they are. Door handle is color-specific.

Leave an annoying ass key in my pocket or buy tires...

That looks sweet! I'd buy one!

But it's a little low on the list of priorities at the moment.... Have a new head unit and exhaust above it.

Does the system come with all the sensors and parts needed to bypass the immobilizer? Just curious to see if the install will be similar to the one in the DIY section of the forum.

I thought installing push button starts meant that you still have to put in your key and turn it to the "on" position. I'm guessing they figured out a way around that?

I want that.

Kind of. the reason for that is the steering wheel lock. there are work around such as removing the lock itself (which i think is done by removing the ignition cylinder itself???) or cutting the head of a key off and leaving it turned and capping it. you have to undo the electrical harness too so you dont drain the battery

From http://www.easygosystem.com/faq.php

"Do I need anything else to install the EasyGO system on vehicles with an immobilizer system?
No, everything you need is included with your vehicle specific EasyGO Smart Key system. If your vehicle is equipped with an immobilizer chip built-in the key, then your EasyGO system will include a necessary Bypass module specific to your vehicle. A Bypass module will inform your vehicle's computer that a valid key is present when your Remote Smart Key is within proximity. You will also be required to disable your steering wheel lock."

Sweet. Low on the mod list, but definitely the kit to get it sounds like. Thanks

Is this something that I would have to pay to get installed or is it pretty straight forward. I've done a lot of stereo systems with my brother so I do have a bit of technical knowhow when it comes to cars.
