I tried that way before too. I wonder if they go back to normal once you load it back into another PS3. Looked on GTPlanet Quote:
Give that a shot and report back. |

But fair enough. Though IMO, a better title for this thread might be something like "GT5 stock lap times for Laguna Seca, Nurburgring, & Tsukuba". Last edited by Deslock; 12-24-2011 at 08:18 AM. |

If you read the first post you will see that we are going to do a new track every month and then move onto another track and this will be the thread that those tracks build onto. I figured a lot of people are home for break/vacation and we might as well start off with a bang so I am doing three tracks to get us going.
I have to go through the thread look at times, names, devices used, confirm with screenshots, filter through the crap in the thread ect to do this and I am just another humble poster like you who wanted to have some fun in GT5 with my fellow GT86 enthusiasts. Which is why I didn't create a list for every track. This is just the beginning my friend. |

I think there is an ft86club group on Forza 4, you could just join that and do the rivals mode races. I'm hoping there is a huge sale after xmas on ps3's, or else I'm also just going to wait for them to add it to Forza.

That is an interesting thought. I will keep my eye open too. I'm in the market, just leaning towards 360. But a good deal could put me on a PS3.

From this point forward.....No more request please for rules, tracks...etc. If you want to start another one, then by all means, do so.
Now, watch there will be someone later on to ask why we aren't doing X, Y and Z. |

^Why aren't you allowing traction...? lol
I am impressed with the times you guys are getting. Makes me jealous I don't have GT5 to play right now. |

Looks like he is using a rear projector which is the best way to play IMHO. I had one in college and it was great just no room for it right now.
Just start the thread and I will be there lol The best part of the Fanatec wheel is that you can use it on PS3, 360, and PC. |

Because this contest and dare I say car, is about man and machine and your ability to control it not electronic algorithms driving the car for you or saving your butt as you try and go all boy racer with no knowledge of car control.
If everyone was using a wheel I would say no ABS but that is too hard for DS users. My lap times are with no electronic aids at all because I feel that this is how a true driver should learn to drive and if you need to learn how to not slam into a wall a video game is a good place to practice. If I see that my times continue to drop off the list I might try abs 1 to see how to helps but right now I enjoy modulating both pedals. It is more rewarding to me. Just for reference in real life I drive a Miata with no traction control, ABS, or power steering, just me and the car. If you want to start a thread where the cars are driven for you then go ahead. I am done explaining the rules if you don't like them don't participate. /rant |
