Is this the same on the US BRZ?

Most likely. The fogs function like that due to the DOT.

Yeah Zooki ..... We have to wire it that way or risk failing yearly state inspection on the car. For my state anyway. Thanks again PatGT86 and everyones input. Makes me more comfortable putting this in. Now I have to find DYI on taking the steeling wheel off.

I used this to get the airbag off:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...ghlight=Airbag

And this to remove & replace the switch:
http://www.trdsparks.com/install/81220-AACHRinst.pdf

Once you get the steering wheel off, the Tundra switches & FR-S switches are exactly the same. The only thing I had to do was reuse the spring clamp from the FR-S switch.

Brilliant! Thanks for that guide!
I'm slowly acquiring the parts I need to do this and a couple other mods, this will help me or immensely.

Probably won't be happening until summer as i have a trip to Hawaii that's taking top financial priority right now, but when i get around to doing this, I'll be sure to take lots of pics and show everyone how it goes

Looking at this closely, shouldn't the switch go before the relay?? Why i say is because the coil should only be energized to complete the circuit. The way this looks is power is always going through the coil and will cause the fogs to always be on. Just wondering??

It's a negative trigger setup. When the switch is off, the white wire on the BCU/stalk harness tapped to pin 86 of the relay is not grounded - turning the switch on grounds that wire and completes the circuit to the coil.

That won't work with the OEM stalk. You would be feeding ground to both ends of the coil.
