so the car was dialed in and i have the chance to track it. Wednesday @AZP installs had a track day. the brz was an animal. so planted. even the pro drivers said how balanced it was which was really incredible to hear from someone.

i had NO rubbing issues. the brakes were perfect, no serious bias even under full pressure. car was very planted and i can carry so much speed through corners that its just down right scary.

here is a good video Steven got chasing my brz...until i missed an Apex thus leading to a point by because i couldn't carry enough speed his forester was so fucking fast as well as his driving. i can't get over it

Jive,

Can you post more details on the brakes?

Info on the rotors?
Source for the rotors?
Did you have the calipers powdercoated?
Did you simply follow some of the already established STi Brake Swap threads for details on parts?

It looks phenomenal. I believe your setup is exactly what I'm going to do, except AST-4150 coilovers, Michelin Pilot Super Sports, and powdercoat the calipers bright blue (still up in the air on color).

Not a problem!

so the calipers themselves are 05 sti calipers. i had them professionaly painted.

the bleeders were swapped at @AZP Installs. we also did the install there.

i'm running stoptech pads (hp+ equivilant i think) SS lines, and DBA 4000 slotted rotors for an 04 sti (5x100). the rear rotors are stock, but upgraded lines and pads.

they bolt right up. just make sure you swap bleeders and DO NOT swap sided to side on the calipers or else your leading piston becomes your trailing piston.

its pretty straigh forward however i'm letting you know now, that red loctite WAS A BITCH. i tried and failed and the guys had one hell of a time getting it out.

hope this helps,

-ivan

Trying to follow jive turkey's setup. Getting the Whiteline rear Lower Control Arm and Whiteline rear toe arms.

Suspension is MCA Red suspension. They are an Australian brand but excellent quality. http://mcasuspension.com/red-series/

Jive is there anything else I would require
good stuff! your car will look great and handle even better!

just roll the front flare by the sidemarkers and trim the rear bumper tabs. otherwise this is a pretty hassle free setup. i rolled my rears just to be safe but i dont htink you NEED to.

why was this thread moved into this one? two seperate cars and two seperate setups...now others wont see the info i posted in my first post of my original thread that explains what it takes to fit a meaty tire setup PROPERLY.

on another note, i'm putting my camera setup up for sale if anyone is interested.

I routinely combine topics in this area when the wheel/spec is identical. This allows for people who are searching to get all of the relevant information in one place.

I have gone through this topic and weeded out the extraneous information to simplify reading, and I have placed direct links to each individual car on the front page.

Thoes wheels are the best I've ever seen on this car, such a significant transformation. Your BRZ looks really cool especially the black ones looks amazing on the blue.
