Doing my install tmw! Unfortunately can't activate the system until I get a tune in a few days

since I run Ecutek now. On a plus note most don't run ecutek so I see what we can squeeze out of it.

If you can't wait, you can run it without a tune. You'll get constant CEL's but it will work. When I first got mine I couldn't wait and ran it for a day before Shiv got a tune to me. This was in the very early days.
Do you not have a OFT? That's by far the easiest and probably cheapest way to go.

It's a very subjective question to answer. There have been r&d delays with the advent of a lighter compressor wheel and wiring reliability upgrades which have hampered production output for good reasons and benefits to those who wait.

Seems like with those upgrades hammered out in detail and holidays done production is back in full swing. Even then I myself wouldn't anticipate my own name coming up for approximately year with what I know as the latest list from Sept. 17.

Until then lots of good reading to do on the continual development.

This is bad advice. Extra air = lean condition = detonation = knock = damaged rods/bearings. The ECU will pull timing to adjust, but it's a pretty awful idea.

You can? Would it run very lean? Really does not sound like a good idea lol. Anyways install went fine, I mean it's pretty easy. I did a activate the system for second with car off works ok it appears.

It's 1.5 dump kit from VR46. I used the big crank and pc680 batteries so had some mods to do like wire into the glove box cig lighter. I also didn't have the right terminal for the positive on the pc680 so it's right angle now. I also don't have the cap from the air box reasonator whicheck I'm trying to figure out sizing now.

I have Ecutek I'm going to get a custom tune on Tuesday by HRI tuning here local.

Few things on the tune.

1) Make sure to warm up the batteries.

2) Make sure the shut off the esc when tunes are loaded into the esc.

3) Sometimes closing the hood can help with warming up the batteries.

Try Home Depot or lowes for the rubber cap.
