A very good tune. Seriously, this is the most important part.

Safely? E85 or race gas and big turbo. Forged internals.

forged internals yes, but I wouldnt choose off the shelf pistons and rods. I would have custom pistons made for this motor.

After that the motor and tune arent the problem anymore, it becomes the clutch, tranny, axles and diff that need to be worried about at a 400 whp daily.

And there you have it, $20k of imaginary money spent just like that.

How much time do you spend on the 7psi map vs. the insanity map?

I switched from mbc to standalone ebc and have everything from 6 to 11psi at the push of a button.... but I always end up at 11 because, it goes to 11.

My maps are currently as follows:

Map1: wastegate pressure (sees between 6.8-8psi)
Map2: 8psi gears 1-2, 12psi gears 3-6
Map3: 12psi gears 1-2, 16psi gears 3-5, 21psi gear 6
Map4: 21psi.

I keep it on map 1 until the car is warmed up 100% and has been for a few miles. I would say 70% of the time I just use map 3 because it is more streetable. Map 4 is mostly just to see the reactions on friends faces when it throws them back into the seat even at "highway speeds" in 6th gear. The car sees 20+ psi almost every time I drive it.. unless I am just going to the store real quick and not getting out of the city area.

I would have to dig up the dyno, but at 16psi the car made 365hp and I forget how much torque (I think 280?)

It is also worth noting that my boost is limited in how quickly it lets it ramp up right now in the low-mid range.

Ya.. my car was on the dyno for hours.. I don't even know how long. I spent several full days there with it on the dyno. Andy, one of the tuners there, has also been back n forth with my logs and sending me tweaked tunes for a few months anytime I think I feel something haha.

They are a pretty awesome shop, they do a ton of work on pretty much any and every tuner and modern muscle car out there.. hence why they aren't really super active on these forums I am guessing. I know some prefer hitting up a tuner that is more specialized in our platform (can't blame them) but R/T worked out great for me.

You're happy, the motor's happy, sounds all good... But didn't you move?
Is e-turning your future at that psi?

I'm about 4 hours from them now. I won't etune. I am planning an engine build over the summer/fall and will go from there. More than likely will stick with R/T.

Isn't e85 bad for valves long term? Does this sound like a safe way to make 400whp? Fbm shortblock, stage 2 clutch, fbm turbo stage 1premium and fbm oil cooler. Would I need to upgrade and tranny parts? I just want 400whp DD!!! Lol

No, yes and it depends on how much traction you have. No traction, no broken transmission.
