I would love to do a full DIY, but it could get very lengthy.... Hopefully this week I can get an updated video finished. I will try to give all of the Part #s and give a explanation of what I did and how it operates. I am not going to do wire for wire DIY, sorry. Although I would be glad to answer any question you have on the install.

Now I just need to get a TRD start switch....

Aloha,
What was the part number for the brz push to start housing? I want to start getting these parts together.

The piece is the whole pocket including the USB/Aux port. It just needs to be transferred over. Sorry I don't have any pics of just the part.....

so quick question. do you think this would be better than buying two idatalinks? idk if it would work for everything 086A used the idatalinks for.

The only difference is the way this system does the immobilizer bypass. The idatalink doesn't need to have the key in the car after its programmed with the key info.

So yes it will work, but the key will have to be hidden in the vehicle dash somewhere.

Nope. I haven't had time to pursue this due to renovating my house. I think the best bet would be to go down to your local Subaru and have them look up the parts and numbers with the blow up schematics to make sure.

Good luck and let me know if you get anywhere with this. =)

Is the Switch Panel really only $4.84? That's the price I got from the first site that popped from google. If yes, then that's not bad at all.

That price is correct. I paid $5 and some change for it in Hawaii. The rubber mat was more at $7. You could maybe remove the stock one and cut it. But for $12 it was easier to order it the same time.
