I DD mine ~70 miles a day, 45K+ on the odo, with most of it boosted. Life's too short to drive boring cars.

This is probably the worst thing I have to complain about, on the FRS. I have an IS300 that uses almost the exact same wheel specs except it is 5X114.3. It would have been great to be able to have bought new wheels and tires for the FRS and mount the FRS' wheels and tires on my IS300. Instead, I had to actually go out and buy a set of tires last week (due to old 12-year old rubber, not wear)...

I am not looking for entertainment from my clutch or brakes and have never found a need to give excessive gas to get up a hill (please elaborate on what cars do not need the gas pedal to go up a hill. I am curious). The seat is one of the most comfortable I have ever sat in and long drive or short jaunts are both a pleasure. My cruise holds my speed rock solid no matter what the terrain and since I use it about 12 hours a week I am pretty sure I know that as a fact.

Now go ahead with the standard "you are deluding yourself fanboy" response that I expect every single time I state that there are many like me that do not agree with your evaluation!
You don't need to believe something as outlandish as the car is a racecar to believe the car is more than what it is. You may be a combination of shorter than 6'0, short legs and a long torso, thin frame, and squishy body if the seats fit your comfortably. It's 3rd least comfortable sports seat of been in.

Don't take so much offense that my opinion differs from yours; there are plenty of people who really enjoy this car and don't notice what I do about it.
There simply things some people can put up with and find acceptable, but those same things others find intolerable. So I can feel like your deluding yourself, and not be wrong.

As for cars that don't need the gas applied to get up a hill with only a modest grade, that would be any car with enough usable torque not to embarrass itself. The only cars that couldn't do this were my Hondas.

Mine is my daily but most of the time, by 'daily' I mean 'driving about 5 miles total' since I commute to SF via bus most days. :P

I drive it almost every day. I get to work reallllly fast. About the only nod to it being nicer than the average "practical" cr is I try to park away from other people. Other than that, full DD duties apply. I love how much space I get when I put the seat dow. Many Nissan parts have been transported in the lil fella. Subaru parts? Why? It doesn't break!

Quit trying to out think the engineers and just drive the car.

I daily mine around 60-70 miles a day. Both at highway (or better lol) speeds and city driving.

I just turned 14K miles in 11 months, but the first 8 months was with only 15 miles back and forth to work. With the recent move it's now 60 - 70 miles round trip with work.
