Do you Daily your FR-S?

Just want to see how many other FR-S owners are daily driving their FR-S? I daily mine at least 65- 90 miles a day. I thought about getting a daily driver but love driving the FR-S so much:D

I am planning on hitting 500,000 km's on my FRS. I don't care what it takes hahaha!

And how many engines you go through?

JimR 03-10-2016 11:36 AM

I sold both a Miata (fun) and Mazda6 (daily) to get my FR-S, now lowered on TRD springs. No "ragrets."

Boosted DD status. I'll probably start looking for a designated DD and ease off on the miles when I hit about 60k. For now I'm loving every minute of it!

I do my used oil analysis and there is next to no wear metals in my oil so at this rate I will never need to replace it. If I blow a head gasket or something I may throw the HKS stroker kit in while I am already in there hahaha.

I hate daily driving the FR-S. It would be a great track car that you could drive there and back home without worry about having to have a tow/support vehicle.

It's too expensive to be as lifeless and spartan as it is for a daily driven vehicle.

Can't make any sense of that. Relatively inexpensive, and its the antithesis of lifeless. And spartan is an option - which I purposefully chose with the base FR-S.
