No, the melted component was the CONNECTOR I used for the 12V power cable. The rest is fine.

Then I created a custom PID in the torque app with an appropriate scalar and voila one ESC display on your phone or tablet.

I use the appradio unchained reloaded to get the torque app displayed on my Pioneer headunit.

What we need now is for Shiv and his team to provide this facility using the PROceed ecu and to output the data with a custom PID onto the car's canbus, then we could get the same functionality that I have shown without having to modify the bluetooth dongle.

If you need any specific details, then just ask

That stinks, but glad you caught it before it caused a fire.
I had to extend the 12v+ lead about 20" and used a hard crimp connector and a 10 gauge wire. Should be ok.

The extra charger helps charge the batteries faster. It also has the added benefit of not overworking the controller and causing it to enter one of its three levels of heat protection.

I have an aux charger and I think it's awesome. Not needed at all but awesome.

So you run this charger from your cigarette lighter (or hard wired) directly to your dump pack as an auxiliary charger, aiding the controller's charging circuit even though the source (the cars 12v system) is the same? And this reduces heat on the controller and charges the batteries faster between boost? Genius!

You mention that you are successfully running an aux charger, is it this model or something else?

Thanks again for more insight,

Josh
