I was told it will reduce fatigue on the headers during hard cornering.

I guess it all comes down to how were out your mounts are, and how well you sell of the radiant heat from the header. My header is wrapped with thermal bandage, and that seems to do the trick. |

![]() But as you said, the rear end do lose traction from not doing it, so I guess if I managed to get it all right, and use more of the track for some parts, the 01:01xxx should be there. |

UEL with stock cat back:
250 with stock cat back and not rubbing on skid plate: They will sound different at the top because UEL was on E85 so revving much higher, where as ace is on 98 ron. Apart from that, the ace is louder due to more overlap, but smoother due to EL obviously. I tried keeping the windows up as much as possible, but will have to listen around the wind noise. |

Not sure if someone already has but, can someone post Ace Header exhaust cold start, idle, and some revs? Stock FP and catback are okay, if Tomei 60R perfect, curious to see how it sounds with other combinations

It's going to sound like every other header with the same cat back.

@Wayno that's for the videos, I am currently running OFH and thinking of switching to ACE cs400. I have an auto and from memory you said UEL is a little better for us auto guys. What's you thought champ.

On the other hand if you want EL sound, the ace is the only choice. That is unless you can keep stock fp and muffler, then el/uel difference is hardly noticeable. |
