Will the hood struts be available through your website at all (or am i dum and just cannot find them)? As I wanted to order more than one item, and was more hoping that they would get shipped together.

Looks great.
Don't forget to take the old support strut off. It's redundant now and comes out with no tools.

Review.

My very first mod.

I had my struts delivered in a timely mannered. When it arrived it had few chips of paint here and there. Grimmspeed responded back with a warranty replacement. I appreciated it. New struts arrived in a better packaged struts. I watched the DIY video a few times and hand threaded the beginning before bringing out to the car. I did have trouble doing it myself a bit lol. I had my head holding the hood while I was threading it in and holding the pieces in place. One thing I did forget i the step was to replace 2nd bolt of the piece that holds the hood in with the longer bolt. I had the oem bolt loosen so the struts can fit in. I realized the video takes out the oem bolt to be replaced by the longer bolt. In the video it definitely looked like it made it a lot easier than what I went through haha. Eventually, I got all the struts installed. I tested opening it up mid way then to the top. I closed it half way and let it go. I closed little closer an drop did it around 6 times to see if there were any problems. Haven't found it. A week later I did a car maintenance. Checking for oil, coolant, threads, washer fluid. The dipstick feels inaccurate. I wonder f it's full or not when I pull it out to check >< Anywho, I checked out the struts I noticed the top paint are chipping off. I'm guessing thats one of the stress on the struts. As long it doesn't rust I'm okay with it

Overall, I like it a lot much better than the stick that holds the hood. I think car nowadays should come with struts anyways... Thank you for a great product! Definitely good customer service.

Excuse my car knowledge terms. I'm learning one step at a time.

That was the only flaw that I found in an otherwise quality product.
I wonder how it will last without paint there?
