performance/aftermarker struts
R there any after market struts out yet? I want to get lowering springs cuz for 1) they're cheaper, & 2) I'm never going to adjust ride height anyways. But I don't wanna run springs on stock struts. Anyone have any idea?

The only struts I have seen are on the BRZ STi Concept Car. From this thread http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15582 .
I would assume that Race Comp will carry this set at some point. These STi bits should cost an arm and a leg. |

There aren't any options available right now unfortunately. Koni Yellows probably won't be too long but I don't have an ETA. We're planning on working with Bilstein for a sport strut eventually.
The standard struts are actually pretty solid. The valving can handle some decent spring rate, but going too low will make short work of them. But you don't want to do that anyway if you care about handling. You can always add upgraded struts later when there are some options. - Andrew |

That's an announcement of upcoming strut/springs, they don't actually have them yet. Like the air filter and many of the other products listed there.

Hmmm. That sucks. I thought some would be out by now. I'm planning on dropping it 1.5". Is that too much for the stock struts? I wanted to install the eibach sportlines
