I know where you can get this one if you want blue....No major damage, just missing the mirror....Oh and glass.... and it might be warped so nevermind.

Trunk lid OK? Have my mind set on a raven driver door!
And besides the hand prints dragged down from the door handles freak me out a little!

All the other panels should be pretty cheap, you got a good body man?

(Trunk complete with most of the OEM spoiler...)

The window molding is tweaked too. Think they'll replace it under warranty?

Too many miles, basic warranty long gone, only had powertrain left and that wouldn't be covered under that...

[QUOTE=TEWwild;2163630]Pedal dance. Can't learn car control if you let it do it for you...

QUOTE]

Have you seen this youtube video?

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dj7WIlliwgQ"]Subaru BRZ drift secrets, stability control, VSC and TRC settings - YouTube[/ame]

I was impressed with how much yaw the ASC allows in Sport mode-- more of a "save your ass from crashing" than "electronic nanny that spoils your fun."

The other thing the video seems to show is that beyond a certain yaw angle even a pro can't prevent a spin.

Drifting at 30mph in a parking lot and going off the tarmac at 100 are two different things, and I suspect most folks are better off leaving the "Ass Saving Circuitry" on at those speeds.

Glad you weren't hurt.

Glad to hear you're healing up well, and that insurance is taking care of you!

That's amazing that they covered something that happened at a track! Good idea to stress it as an educational event though.

On the street or race course?

There is a lot of chance involved in these crashes--If a part of the car where you AREN'T gets crushed it absorbs energy and protects you. If you happen to be where it gets crushed, not so good.
On the street going up a hill lost control at 90mph tried to compensate and clipped a curb rolled 3 times. The Fkn roof came off and he died at the scene.

He was my brothers good friend, and a very cool dude. I always told him to slow down.
