The factory sensor isn't a true wideband. Not is it a narrow band. It's a broad response narrow band sensor that is reasonable accurate down to ~11.5 or so. This is why the o2 sensor calibration doesn't extend downwards to the 10:1 as a true wideband sensor/controller would.

You will need a new XML file for the v2.0 maps. Please do not try to edit until we provide this

Just had a pretty rough start... Starter motor would click over atleast 10 times before the car would fire up... Gonna wait and see if it happens again before I flash back

Edit: It took about 2.5 times longer than normal to start. The idle-hunting while A/C is on hasn't come back so far as I can tell.

Was everyone able to tell a noticeable difference when upgrading from the ESC 1.0 to the 1.5? I'm right on the fence of upgrading.

I suppose you can call it whatever you want but Denso calls it a Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor and it has no more in common with a narrow band sensor than a Bosch "true wideband" sensor does.

On my previous Scion XB the Denso ECU was able to read the Denso AFR sensor down to ~9:1 (converted from lambda). Perhaps the sensor isn't very accurate below 12:1 but all I said was that it is capable of reading richer than 11:1.

Umm OK. Reads richer but grossly inaccurate, still useless but totally something to argue about.

A resounding YES. No other power mod for the price will touches it.

Not "grossly inaccurate" or "useless" but thanks anyway for your typically inaccurate and useless commentary.

Sure, enjoy your modified borla header and visconti tune without logging but then again, inaccurate doesn't mean useless to you so yeah.

I am, thanks. Enjoy your toy e-charger and richer than 11:1 OFT tune.

Neither of those are accurate, but hey, it floats your boat.

as much as I don't want to add fuel to the fire, my factory log afr pegs out at 12.17 the whole time I am wot.

I haven't logged my stage 1 oft tune yet, but with it pegged out, how would I know if I am at 11:1 or even richer?

*edit, or maybe my stock tune is just locked at 12.17 as other peoples logs go below that, and stock tune is crap and I don't know what I'm doing.

Those running the old single dump pack maps on their 1.5 dump pack set-ups will notice a nice bump in power and smoother overall performance-- especially in the low end.

Cheers,

I've been off the forum for weeks - a lot going on - but I decided to check in and see if there was a new 1.5 map... low and behold, I've been missing out for the last 10 days!

I am still on the stock header. And I made a mistake - I hit write on the tablet while the ignition was still on. Is that a error that must be corrected? The tune seems to be working alright. The idle seems much smoother. I don't know if I can tell a power difference or not, but the engine seems to sound a bit different, too.

Here's a log that has a 2nd gear pull and two 3rd gear pulls 80 degrees F, 80% humidity:

http://datazap.me/u/robwbright/71414...og=0&data=7-12

Everything look alright? I see a max boost of 4.79.

Should I re-flash the tune with the ignition off?

Thanks, guys! And especially thanks, Shiv!
