o...i am somewhat retarded so your probably right. i didn't think the dyptronic/paddle shifters were standard on all automatics. i assumed it was a bonus feature of the Limited package that's why i said that. i looked at a premium model, and either i blacked out, or i just forgot. my bad lol

I'm going to ruin the surprise, it's the same two transmission offerings (MT/AT) on the FRS and GT86.

I love the manual in this car. I know the auto is good as well, but I don't know if I would want the car to be any slower off the line.

OP, you will adjust to the clutch after driving the car longer. The fact that about 80%+ of the cars produced thus far are manuals tells me that is more popular in terms of resale down the road as well. Which is usually the opposite of most cars But this car is an enthusiast car and, for me, the manual just adds to the overall driving dynamic.
