I wasn't talking about T1R Canada, I meant Type One as in the Spoon mechanic shop. It always confused me when people would refer to one or the other and I never got real clarification. Seems that if T1R Canada has no affiliation with Type One Japan, then they used Type One Japan's name in a misleading manner.
It is a workshop to perform the service in specific ism SPOON. さらにSPOON SPORTSのパーツ開発機能を担う拠点でもあります。 I am also responsible for the function in the base part of SPOON SPORTS further development. 高い専門性をもった技術とサービスを提案することでHondaを愛するユーザーに真の技術情報を発信してい く。 We will continue to disseminate technical information to users true love by proposing Honda technologies and services with a high level of expertise. 高耐久で、気持ちよいOnly Your Hondaを! In high durability, the Only Your Honda pleasant! ホンダ好きがシビれるチューニングファクトリー、それがTYPE ONEなのです。 Tuning Factory Honda is like Sibi, it's the TYPE ONE."

So what is the weight savings from the double to single on the T1R brand?

Well .. exactly what would you like me to provide you with?
I've dealt with T1R products as a customer and a dealer. If you need some sort of information of more value that what I am telling you - what is the issue with me telling you to contact them directly?

It would be nice if AJ Racing would come in and just answer the simple question instead of a questionable dealer stirring things up for unnecessary reasons

For reference, their Bride-looking seats are made in Vietnam by their own admission. But only when pressed. The Honda forums seem to be under the assumption that it is all Taiwanese, marketed to sound JDM for JDM prices. So if they could clear that up, that'd be great.

T1R has nothing to do with Type One Japan. T1R is our company brand (Parts company) and we have manufacturers in Canada, Japan, Korea and UK, depending on the product. CAT-BACK for the FRS/BRZ are made in Korea, I don'y know how much will this matter. Headers are from Japan. I hope this will clear all the confusions that everyone is having ! Quote:
