I wasn't talking about T1R Canada, I meant Type One as in the Spoon mechanic shop. It always confused me when people would refer to one or the other and I never got real clarification. Seems that if T1R Canada has no affiliation with Type One Japan, then they used Type One Japan's name in a misleading manner.

So what is the weight savings from the double to single on the T1R brand?

Well .. exactly what would you like me to provide you with?

I've dealt with T1R products as a customer and a dealer. If you need some sort of information of more value that what I am telling you - what is the issue with me telling you to contact them directly?

Well this is their thread. Plus depending on whether you are talking exhaust specifically, or their products overall, your information isn't 100% correct. Not by a long shot.

Well the exhaust and suspension is built in Japan. Heaven forbid their oil caps may or may not be (I don't know myself) but I really don't see what the elephant in the room is.

I have suspension built by HD Systems in Korea. Is it therefore shitty?

It would be nice if AJ Racing would come in and just answer the simple question instead of a questionable dealer stirring things up for unnecessary reasons

I would rather they post up the details themselves. Will avoid any 'misunderstandings'.

For reference, their Bride-looking seats are made in Vietnam by their own admission. But only when pressed. The Honda forums seem to be under the assumption that it is all Taiwanese, marketed to sound JDM for JDM prices.

So if they could clear that up, that'd be great.

12 years ago in the Honda community, there were concerns about Type One Japan = T1R Type One Racing. To make this simple, Type One is a mechanic shop in Japan and they provide service and tuning.

T1R has nothing to do with Type One Japan. T1R is our company brand (Parts company) and we have manufacturers in Canada, Japan, Korea and UK, depending on the product.

CAT-BACK for the FRS/BRZ are made in Korea, I don'y know how much will this matter. Headers are from Japan.

I hope this will clear all the confusions that everyone is having !

The T1R 70R single is 25 lbs so you are saving 16 lbs.
