What width/model tires are you running on those 17x9 30 offset wheels? I'm about to get some RPF1s in 17x9 35 offset and will be mounting some RCE springs, wondering what the largest tire size I can pull in the front and rear. Currently thinking 245 Front/255 Rear Star Specs...

That is weird. They are supposed to come with both. I would contact the vendor that provided.

" The car has a tendency to bounce just a bit more under aggressive driving on extremely rough surfaces, though, and I would definitely recommend upgrading the dampers (shocks) as a complimentary modification if you plan to take driving seriously. "
I really appreciate you mentioning this. I had some springs on my previous car and later upgraded to coilovers for this very reason. I have some bumps in corners on my daily commute and the chassis was easily upset due to the bounce. I have some H&R springs sitting in the garage rated at .85" drop. Looks like I'll be ordering some shocks to go with them before I install. I appreciate any additional thoughts. |

These still viewed as a great simple lowering option or are they too old school now?

Here's mine on Eibach Pro Kit
Wheels are WedsSports TC105n 17x9 +35 Tires are Direzza ZII's in 245/40/17 but you can't really see that. I also had Cusco adjustable lower control arms installed. Crash bolts up front aren't getting me the desired camber, so I'm hoping the Whiteline bolts will accomplish that. My impressions reflect that of Darren's, I'm happy for now First pic is the "before" obviously. Last edited by CircuitJerk; 04-17-2013 at 09:50 AM. Reason: Cuz photobucket sucks on mobile |
