Heard quality with Lotus is mixed vut didn't know it was that bad.

Not sure how hardcore he wanted to go.

Well like I said, I think it just depends on what you are looking for. I don't think its so much a lack in quality more then it is the car was not built for comfort. There was no consideration taken into making the car enjoyable to drive as a dd. They should just advertise the exige as a "race car" and then people, like my buddy, wouldn't be so disappointed. Haha

Nah, that's just my love for the engine itself. If I had a 240 I'd probably go for the tried and true SR20DET. But I'd probably replace just about any rotary with an LS.

Too bad OP doesn't want anything to do with an LS engine.. An LS swapped FD RX7 would be a blast, I bet.

yeah i saw that... makes all the used ones i looked seem way over priced now.
I did enjoy a test drive in a genesis 2.0 but it was automatic so i am gonna try to find a manual to drive.
if the genesis doesnt work out i will probably just continue on my path to boost.

Had a 2013 manual Genesis Coupe for 14 months and sold it for the BRZ. The Gencoupe is definitely faster in a straight line, but the manual is poorly executed, and the car is more bloated than the BRZ. They are not bad cars, but if you are looking for a more lightweight better handling car, the Gencoupe is not it.
