FR-S trade in... on what?

So I am not happy with my fa20... I have considered boost but I am not sure thats the answer.
what would you trade it in on?
no fwd, prefer rwd but awd would be ok.

Kind of need to know what you're not happy about, in order to recommend something else...

If he's considering boost, then he probably doesn't appreciate the power delivery.

Used C5/C6 Corvette and Mustang Boss 302 are all decent handling American RWD cars that got plenty of power.

Here you go dude..

It's RWD and I think you'd look just right in it.

I am looking for more power I guess. I dont want 1000hp drag car either though.
I like sliding around and general shenanigans but i would like it have track ability as well.
I looked at a 370, genesis coupe, even an sti... just not sure.

suaveflooder 07-22-2013 09:56 PM

I agree with @OrbitalEllipses. A sed C5 Z06 will give you decent power, probably cost about the same and they handle really well....even stock. Good luck in your search

Shit Luck 07-22-2013 10:00 PM

yeah i dont think i can do the vette thing...

i really like the frs, but to spend half the value of the car to be able to out run a mini van when merging with no hope of reliability is a drag.

A used Vette will do all of those. An STI will not slide around...easily anyway. I'd skip the Gen coupe for a track-capable car. Probably the 370 too.

I'm ready to trade in my car because of the fucking transmission.

This is a great choice as well. Loved my E46M. Maintenance is a little steep, but of you don't mind it was a great car!

n2oinferno 07-22-2013 10:35 PM

Need a back seat? Consider a 6.0 GTO? It's not light at ~3700lbs, but a great highway cruiser and plenty of power.

Shit Luck 07-22-2013 10:38 PM

back seat isnt an issue. the frs isnt a daily so neither will whatever i trade it on.

n2oinferno 07-22-2013 10:50 PM

Then buy the best performance car for the money. C5 Z06. If your budget allows mid 30s, C6 Z06.
