Any Overseas customer have tracking numbers yet for their exhaust??????
I was one on the first 20 and still don't have it yet.
I thought they might have been sent out the end of last week.

is there a no cat option? a good resonator in the midpipe helps a lot.
are the mufflers at the ends pretty much hollow?

SRT you have done a nice design, the dyno result is very impressive! But I have a quick question for you. According to some online guide, there's some experiential rules, said there's a best ID of pipe, fit about 60HP per inch^2 for NA engine, for best flow velocity.(http://www.team-integra.net/forum/bl...sure-area.html)

I've read your exhaust uses 2.5" pipe, so I wonder without regard to owner's favor, if your shining head-back exhaust with the stock sized 2.1" OD pipe can actually get a greater power gain? or at least keep current gain(with a lighter weight compare to your current 2.5" one)?

For you guys that installed the exhaust already, did you re-use the stock gasket at the header or did you buy a new one? I tried to read through all of the posts again, but it was too many and I started skimming. Just remember someone posting about having a leak at first.

Thanks for the help!

I reused the gasket. I had about 10.3k miles on the car when I installed the exhaust, but figured that it shouldnt fall apart. So far, no leaks.

OK...thanks for the responses. List of the gasket is $31+ but my cost is around $15 or so. Would have to order it and it would be a few days. I only have 3300 on it now so, I 'll just re-use it and see how it goes.

I had SRT install mine. I'm guessing they just reinstalled it. How do you know if you have a leak?

From what I recall, the gasket problem stems from the removal of your stock exhaust and the installation of your new one in a rushed manor or done too many times.. Mo mentioned that if it has been used too many times, then it is probably warped/done/leaky/whatever the proper word would be.

I'm guessing you would get a ticking like sound by the area where the two pieces connect.

Makes sense. I'll probably order one to have it one hand just in case.

Thanks,

Youd hear and/or smell it.

When I first installed it, I started the car and ran my hand over all the connections while the car was still in the air. I didnt feel any air escaping.

Just make sure you start at the front of the car and don't actually touch the piping, it could be hot.
