Picked up around 15 HP peak as well as torque and power early on switching to the GReddy 3" Speed Master over the CS GTS VER 2.

For those of you who have the T518Z kit, how is everything holding up? Any problems yet with not having a blow off valve?

This turbo kit is designed not to have a BOV, which is fine by me as personally like the flutter sound but I'm concerned not having a blow off valve may cause damage on the turbo sometime in the future.

No reported issues I've seen, there are people on here with 50k + and a lot of track miles with this kit.

That's great to hear. Looks like I'll be buying this turbo kit! Time to start a build thread, hah.

Anyone in here running an oil cooler? I acquired a Mishimoto oil cooler and wondering if it will fit with this style kit. I would have went with Greddy/ Kate cool since their kits fit great, but this was free and unused

Whereabouts are you?
I can send you my T518Z maps as an example tune, though you'll need to do a bit of reading about using RomRaider and EcuFlash with a Tactrix OP2, or get an EcuTek license to use them well.

We have maps for the Greddy T518Z kits, and have tuned them as remotely as Saudi Arabia. I have no hesitation in saying we could get you up and running

Sincerely,

Zach

So did you change out the actuator? Cause you're making some nice power

Making even more now with a larger intercooler, 4" CAI, and gt3076r turbo at 18psi. My fiance has been having some health issues and with work, I have yet to travel 3 hrs to the dyno to get numbers. I was making over 400 with some minor mods to the stock greddy kit at about 15psi so now I'd estimate it's A LOT more. Lol

Still using stock greddy actuator with the arm tightened a little. I ported my waste gate on the turbo and I've had no issues holding boost properly with my ebcs. It's still my daily driver and I've had no issues whatsoever. I'm over 27k miles now.

BTW, how are you guys lowering / controlling the boost?

I'm looking to run the T620Z on a stock engine for about year before building, so wanted to run at a low boost.
