I prefer a legendary badge such as Toyota for a FT-86. It makes more sense the badge as a Lexus that a Scion. Lexus lacks of true sport coupe.

Well. I forgot the LFA, which is rumored to have another edition, Nurburgring Edition. SC300 and SC400 are discontinued, and the SC430 is not a true sport coupe. However, I feel sorry about forgetting my most favorite car, LFA. If there will be IS coupe variant, Lexus doesn't need the up scaled version of FT-86.

Only thing, I'm hopping is don't release FT86 in Lexus... I don't want insurance go higher. I'll pay for Toyota and Scion car insurance... but Geico love to up the Lexus car insurance. I wonder why?

I think they still make one for Toyota if they really want to add Lexus variant. and I agree, Insurance for my Lexus IS is ridiculously expensive( maybe bcus I'm 21). =.=""

I do hope they release a version. The more they spread the platform around, the better. Lexus is in desperate need of an entry level roadster, the FT would be a good place to start.

Doesn't matter that they are discontinued... we are after all talking about history right? If we are comparing Lexus to Toyota right now, Toyota has squat in the Coupe dept.. (except solara maybe?)

You mean one of TWO acting words from SIX total?
It must be hidden in those SIX words very well.

I'd like to see a Lexus roadster version of the FT. That's an option I hadn't considered.
