I'm not saying this is rice, its a very clean ride. But this video is exactly the type of thing I don't understand. He basically took a video showing how much care he has to take just to get in his driveway and thinks his car is super cool. If he likes it great, I just will never understand it or want it for myself.

God I love s13's. That wheel fitment, not so much. I personally hate that under the fender look.

The owner of that car looks like he does some track days though so that look was probably an unintended result of him lowering it for better handling.

That 13 hatch is THE SHIT. Who cares if he has to take caution to do that in and out of a driveway. You know how many supras and high end exotics that have to do the nearly the same damn thing?

Idk how hellaflush results in running positive camber on one side and negative on the other. Just another example of whay I said previously about people having ridiculous reasons as to why its dumb. How about focusing on cars that are done right and not ones that are half assed.

I will be the first one to say right now that my frs will definitely be running that legit fitment. Haters gonna hate. Fact of the matter is, we are all into something different. Some people are into time attack/grip etc and want to build a car for that. Others are into drag racing and want to build a car for that. Some are into hardparking and want to build a car for that. I want a sick street car/weekend drift car and thats what I intend to build my car for.

You have to build a car based on where you drive it. The fastest cars on a brand new perfectly built track will be very low but some tracks are bumpier and require more clearance, suspension travel, and softer springs/shocks. Track cars are too low for the street just like rally cars would be too tall. Standard roads need their own settings just like tracks or dirt have their own required settings.

IMO rice is when you go for any look that sacrifices performance.

My bad, didnt read it thouroughly.

Rice is things on the car that serve no purpose whatsoever. Boost gauge on an na car, 4" exhaust on stock 1.6l motor. Gt wing on a street driven, hardparked fwd car. Things of that nature.

Like stretched tires and a lack of suspension travel on bumpy roads? :P

Same...

Especially the term hella in general. wtf.

Umm stretched tires helps prevent sidewall flex and allows clearance for wider wheels. last time I checked you dont need full suspension travel to drive on bumpy roads. Having a flush fitment doesnt prevent suspension travel..being slammed on the ground does.

Idk what kind of roads youre driving on but if you need full travel just to get from a to b, I would suggest relocating to a different area.

Just sayin

Dont extoics all have a lift system now to avoid speed bumps and stuff? I know the Lambos do

Thats s13 should be fine Alberta is full of flats and slow drivers so being low and slow is good to go haha

Like the car looks awesome however still wouldn't go that low myself
