P&L hit 403 on e85 with only upgrading injectors. The auto's internals seem to be holding up to more than the manual.

Neither of them have broken so both are holding up just as well as the other. No one should consider a clutch needing upgraded part of a transmission's internals.
Upgraded clutch: cheap and only a fewish hours to replace
Upgraded transmission internals: expensive and likely difficult to replace

Not too surprising. Reminds me of the upgrades required for MT gti guys vs those with the DSG...

True, but this will be the second clutch for Don's car. It's one of the main thing keeping me from slapping a turbo on my car tomorrow (that and the fact that it's been stuck at the dealer for the last week).

I (like most) will be running 93 Octane on fuel... Does this mean I absolutely have to have Methanol Injection for reliability/safety? e85 is awesome, but alas - none here

I'll post up a graph later but I think we made 330-340whp on pumpgas.

Its only the second clutch needing replaced because he was using the stock pressure plate. Seems like Exedy wanted some testing done and that testing was successful, atleast in that they found the limit.
Replace it once with one up to the task and you won't have to replace it again. That or just stay at a reasonable power level on the stock one. Anything over 200whp is going to be quite the excitement compared to stock.

Well, your auto has several "clutches" inside. It does not have the same type as the manual however which uses a clutch and flywheel combo at the back of the engine. Yours just uses a flex plate (instead of flywheel) and a torque converter (instead of a clutch).

I'm sure larger injectors can pull 400 on pump.

I used to run methanol on my old car, it's pretty safe. Then you run with a hi/lo psi switch. 9-10 psi low and 20-25 psi with methanol.

Good ole days

If larger injectors means more power for the car, then I'm all in!! If they can confirm this - I'm going to chart the course of getting it installed next month!

I would suggest the SIR500s or DW700s on the BRZ-300 kit. It can be done with out on low boost..

The BRZ-400 kit is still under testing
