No, he would say so if he was. And tranz it's pretty standard practice for a serious street setup to run the highest grade of pump gas available. The most common high grades are 93 and 91, not really a lot of options for a street car. E85 requires more fuel flow and the stations are limited to maybe 1 every 60 miles or so. There's one pump in Clarksville and probably 2 in Nashville. It's quite a bit of hassle especially if the car is DD at all.

Plus he's already running 325WHP on 93.

No I realize that he isn't running e85 but was asking if he had any plans. Lots of guys here have moved over to that in their turbo cars. E85 is like running something like 105 octane plus the added cooling effects of the ethanol. I didn't realize there were so few e85 stations in TN. Would have thought there were more. Just program your ecu to run on both e85 and pump gas. Both of best worlds.

Yes we do. But it's called 91 and 93. We use the (R+M/2) method not just RON.

Watched the vids. That turbine is loud!

depends on the station. Before I moved to Georgia, I lived outside Detroit in Michigan. The gas station closest to my house had a "race gas" pump that had something like 101 octane in it. I've not seen a race gas pump since I moved to Georgia 8 years ago.

I'm closer to a gas station with 110oct at the pump than I am a station that has e85. True that on them being far out and few between. And that's 326whp on 93 pump, don't short change me...j/k..

Naw, no plans to run e85. I can push 500whp on PTuning's dyno with 93 pump and Methanol injection. Which 450-500whp on their dyno is about as much as I will want to push for competition. Anything above that I probably do for bragging rights.

Stopping at Walmart to pick up windshield washer fluid (substitutes for Meth injection) and use that + 93oct at every Shell gas station and STILL make 500whp....I'm good. Car would be good for 10's in the 1/4 mile and ridiculous lap times at my Speedway. I will hover around 400whp first though cause the trans likes to give you problems on track day at 450+whp. Normal driving fine, getting on it on the streets fine at 700+whp. But constant track abuse, 400whp is about where you want to keep it at. This will be until I get the dog box trans and then I'll unless the CRACKEN! lol...

Really? What is the meth concentration in windshield washer fluid?

On immediate priority list are Samco hoses. I need to remove my downpipe and exhaust wrap it and my front dump tube needs to be wrapped properly.

It's time for new street tires cause my old ones look like slicks. I will be running Hankook RS-3 now since the RS-2 are no longer made.

Change the radiator and in my spare time pick up some new track tires and I'll be fine for a while. I got to please the woman now. Looking into buying a house and what not, so money will be tied up for a while.

I'm going to try and get a video tonight with my regular digital cam. HD cam still needs a battery pack and charger.
