My only concern about going the GT-R style spoiler route is whether or not I have to drill the trunk lid. I'd rather not do that, especially since I have a factory spoiler. If the holes are the same, that would be ideal. (Although I secretly hope something knocks it out of the running because I'm cheap and don't actually want to buy the thing.)

Well, as a wing that's pretty garbage. As a stabilizer though...

Gotta love Craigslist...

Must have had a 100 calls asking "is it full of water?" or "are pumps included?"
First guy that wanted to buy it showed up on a bicycle.
Next guy agreed to the price of $50 and then showed up with only $20 and said he would give us the rest later.
Third was a little old lady that thought I could carry it upstairs by myself, put it in the trunk of her Buick then follow her to her house and unload it for her.
Fourth thought there were "fish included".
Fifth finally showed up with cash, two buddies and a pickup truck so took it away.

Told the wife "never again" since I now had about 10 hours invested in selling something for $50. I could have taken a hammer to it, thrown it in the trash and came out ahead!
2 experiences. my brother tried selling his '94 grand am with 190k miles on it for $1200. it ran fine, he was clear about all the issues the 10+ year old car had. got no less than 6 calls asking if he would take payments. 3 wanted to take the car immediately and 'would get the cash next week'. they all got offended when he laughed and told them all to come back next week with the cash... one wanted him to hold the car for a month with no money down.

i once tried selling a single bose 301 i found at goodwill for $20 and never found a matching pair for. put on ebay for 1 week, $20 flat shipping, no reserve. after 3 days, i had 15 messages, all offering $1-10 shipped. finally 'sells' for $65. buyer suddenly has regret over shipping costs, 10 messages later, i agree $5 shipping. then there was the ebay seller fee's... by the time i was done, i made about $10 for 4 hours/day and 7days of work... now i just throw things away.

the wald should cover the entire oem '13-15 spoiler holes. the oem gt-r definitely covers the outside big holes.

i'm a tease.

Yeah, this is why we sometimes make big trips to thrift shops. My time is worth more than my shit. This is also why I have things piling up all over the place. I know I'm not supposed to buy more, but 4/5 things end up being useful at least for a little while. 3/5 are ONLY useful for a little while.

My ARB Elements arrived!!!! It can be a freezer too!! It is sitting at 22F right now! It draws under an amp. between 0.4 and 0.89. Thats about the lowest in the industry. Plus its waterproof, stainless, and it has a keypad so that you can lock your beer up, if the fridge is in the back of your truck.

Test fit in my van; The lid opens full up and has 2" of room to the roof.

Wow, that's nice! We have a rule that every day while camping, we must have ice cream. It's also helpful that calories don't count while camping. I might need to add one of those to my 'lottery winning' list!

My problem is that by the time i can finally admit an item has no further use for me, the thrift stores don't want it!

Someone in Japan, custom mounted Audi TTRS spoiler on their BRZ and it looked good. I used to have the pic on my phone... but sadly, I can't find it anymore.

Just my 2 yen.

Applied for a new job this week. A little bit on the low end of a couple of their requirements, but then though to myself “shit, they want 6 years experience, and I have 5.5, guess I’m not as far off as I thought”. And I have a couple qualifications already that they just want their successful candidate to be eligible to get.

Really want this job because it’s going to give me my life back. 9-5, Monday to Friday instead of 7- whenever, for 17 days straight with only 4 off, living out of a hotel. Fiancée is 100% on board and has gotten a job offer from a hospital in the area. If I get the job, sounds like we’re going to buy a house ASAP, and should be able to put nearly 50% down on it if the market stays this way for the next 6 months or so.

A couple coworkers jumped ship to this company, so i think I have a fairly good shot at it.
