To me adding the basic coolers is just responsible mods with a turbo. Sure track junkies are seeing heat concerns but people make it out that these cars are the only cars that do that, I have been working around race cars for years and thermal management is always a top priority.

I think people should monitor there data and see where they need to make adjustments other then just tossing money at a "problem" they may not even have.

And maybe that unusually hot day during the summer, take it easy

That melted fan happened on the coldest day we tested that particular BRZ. Ambient was under freezing in the session it happened. We actually ran it all summer leading to that winter, without that issue.
