They will probably restrict you to the value of a stock one will they not? If not then they are a cool insurance company.

Also note that Realstreet has currently 16 000 products listed on eBay, so it's not like some shady unknown seller. They have a wholesale warehouse and I'm sure they still make money while being cheaper than others on some stuff.

If your insurance is paying for it, then why not just go with something you know is real like this:

When I did this last time with Progressive the parts couldn't total more than the estimate and the remainder of the payout went on my loan. This is a different company but I expect I'll just have to pay the difference on any parts I choose. The rear bumper and tail light, and front bumper, radiator, and air box were broken so I'm thinking stock bumpers, stock tail, Koyo radiator, and CAI. If I get a used tail it should cover the difference on the other mods

Well if they say it's black and it turns out it's grey then we know they lied and eBay will cover the purchase

Dude, caution is a wonderful thing but you are grossly over thinking this.
Reputable vendor + Know product + good price = win

Why would an authorized skunk2 dealer sell fake products?

It's real.

Not to mention the pictures on the intakes manufacture's website show some images that appear gray too...
http://cms.skunk2.com/id/1024/BRZFRS...Intake-System/

look at the pictures in here, many of them look the same off gray as the ones you posted do.
