Check valves should always be placed in the hose between the intake manifold and whatever is on the other end of the hose.

I bought 3 check valves from US Plastics when I ordered mine, because shipping was so high and the valves were only a couple of bucks each. Do you ever come up to Phoenix?

http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=36844

It's a 3/8", so I just took some 3/8" hose and drilled a little out of the ID at both ends to connect it to the catch can and manifold.

They also have these, which would probably work:

This is a pretty good picture right from the Vortech install...
9b is the check valve up close and then 9a and 9c show it installed in the hose.

Does the radium catch can have 3/8 inner tube or 1/2 inner tube diameter.

I think that they may be interchangeable on the Radium cans (not sure what it comes with, though).

I have a Saikou Michi set, which has a 3/8" connection for the PCV line and a 1/2" that goes to the manifold (which is also takes 1/2" ID).

Good job, doing your homework can keep you from kicking yourself in the ass later.

If you want some kind of check valve baller status, you can use a Boomba:

http://www.boombaracing.com/check-valve-12-mm-1-2/

Maybe a little over the top, but they look nice and seem to get good reviews.

PM me your address if you don't mind the idea of thinning the inner wall of some 3/8" hose, I'll ship one of these down to you. Only things you'll need are 3/8" hose, some hose clamps and a way to drill the center of the hose a bit (I used a stepper bit).

EDIT: Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words:

That boomba is dope. I think the hose is 3/8" so I would just need to lubricate with my spit and on each end and out her on. Thanks for the offer though!

No problem. I fought with it for a second and then went straight for the drill.

Yeah, the Boombas look nice and take half the pressure of mine to open (not that it really matters, but nice).
