If anyone is looking to test drive a BRZ in the Tampa area, Reeves Subaru has a WRB Limited AT that they are keeping just for people to see and test drive. They just got it in today, they put all the options on it as well.

I originally had a pre-order with them only because mastro already had like 5.. guess I was supposed to be first in line but they never talked to me/contacted or anything.

Ended up going back to mastro and was very happy to be 13th in line. This dealership basically knows me by name which is something i've never experienced in any dealership.

Yeah they are kinda freaky like that. I ran a rallycross with them in 2002 or maybe 2003 and didn't see any of them for YEARS, walked in to test drive a 06 STI and they remembered my name.

Reeves did mention to me that they were ordering one as a demo vehicle but refused to tell me their allocation.. it can not be very high though.

Reeves told me that they are only getting 3 cars, all of which are spoken for. I'm not sure if that is including the 1 demo car that they are keeping.

So they won't really care if the Mastro pre-order list shows up to drive the demo car?

I wouldn't mention to them that you have one on order from another dealer, but at least tell them that you are interested in driving it.

I work a mile from Maestro, so I will most likely get mine from there. I managed to see the deliveries last week, and even sat in one. Sounds like I might have to head to Reeves to drive one. However, I'm going to have to wait until next feb-march before getting one.

I know the orders are limited, but does anyone have a ballpark number for how many they think will most likely be in the area in the next 5-8 months?

They were allocated 15 through november I believe. I'm 13th in line and ball parking mine to come in around oct-nov.

Ok, thanks. Sorry, I meant ballpark in the tampa and st pete area on how many to expect on the roads. I plan on getting on a list soon, to ensure I am able to get one early to mid 2013 (if there is still a wait).

That's what you get for not going to detroit to get brochures for them :P

In case I didn't state it enough it was a gift from the salesman not the dealership as I'm sure there's some ethical reason for a dealership preventing them from providing alcohol with a car :P

Best bet is to call Mastro (I'd rec Sean M) and have them let you know if someone bails on their car. It'll happen I'm sure.

Congrats on your new BRZ! Mastro is great, I had LD help me, he is also a fellow racer and avid enthusiast. You can't got wrong with Sean or LD! A new SSM will be in Orlando this month
