Unclaimed BRZs

Hey, if anyone backs out, or finds out about anyone that backs out on a BRZ at a dealership in the DFW Metroplex, post it up on here!

I am still sorta considering getting one, but at this point preordering would infeasible because I am leaving to Illinois in August, and would need a car before then.

And anyone in the same boat as me, you can take advantage of this too and pick one up!

If you do happen to find one, then post up the Color/Trim/Trans/Options and maybe price if you have it!

Thanks!

I just tried the Corpus Christi Subaru dealer, and they are asking for a $5,000 mark-up on their cars.
That's probably why they're still available. At that price might as well get an STI.

Perhaps once they realize that nobody will buy it, they'll get closer to MSRP.

So I dropped by my neighborhood Toyota dealer today (Toyota of Lewisville) to see the FRS they got.

It was orange, manual and available.

I asked if they sell for MSRP, the salesguy stopped for a moment then said they sell for $5,000 above MSRP. I asked if it's a joke, he said "they have one available now~ (with intonation)". I turned away and left.

The hype on these cars is terrible it makes me just wanna buy the new 3-series. I have an upcoming test drive of their 2.0T manual w/ sports package. If it has enough torque for DD, which I know the FRS/BRZ doesn't, then I'm just gonna cancel my BRZ pre-order even if they "promised" to sell me MSRP.

Oh, btw, I didn't even bother to ask if I could test-drive the FRS. Not worth it.

Ya I saw that one. $32k is their price. Sales guy said straight up it was a mark up. That being said, Toyota Denton has a black MT for $27k. But the best deal I've found so far was in Tyler. MSRP Asphalt AT with Nav

Glad to see San Antonio isn't the only one with the same issue.

BTW is anyone here a USAA member? They have an auto buying policy where you do all the negotiation online; the FRS is available on there listed at the MSRP price and you might be able to get it W/O the mark up

Cowboy Scion has a Argento 6MT for MSRP + Dest + $499 Tint + TTL, which comes out to about $27.5k OTD.

I test drove it, it has 60 miles on it, and it's quite nice!

EDIT: I also went to Toyota of Lewisville and they said I couldn't test drive it because it was already sold. Maybe they just didn't want me test driving it, or maybe someone bought into their markup crap...

News flash. Sewel has available DGM Premium 6AT coming around June 25. Look for Andrei and mention the guy with 335i mentioned it (he doesn't know my screen name obviously). Andrei left me a voicemail and said the original buyer backed out for personal reasons. I will call him tomorrow that I'm not interested, coz its not limited, not manual, and not WRB. Sewel is only asking for $500 deposit to reserve it this time.

Thanks for the info, but I'm not in a hurry right now. That's why I'm not interested with the DGM at Sewel either.

I'll wait it out till the dealer I placed my pre-order gets my WRB Limited 6MT even if I have to wait till November 2012. They gave me a legit MSRP+TTL OTD price and 2 year / 24K miles complimentary service. I don't wanna drive to Hiley (Fort Worth) just to get a service. Besides Hiley has a bad reputation and would surely have a mark-up on the WRB.

This has me confused. I am one of the preorders at Sewell Subaru and all of their 7 cars already are accounted for. Also we know what all 7 colors are. I never knew there was a dgm in that group. It's 3 swp, 3 wrb, and 1 cbs. How did they get a dgm? Can you see if he can explain this, please?
