Lowest $ Amount Someone Has Thought You Paid For Your FR-S?

It's amazing that we are pitting brothers (twins) against each other as if they are completely different cars. I hope everyone is trolling and joking. Lol

Not even the F-body (Camaro/Firebird) guys were this bad..

Edit: No way in hell would Subaru produce a car like this on its own.

Learn 2 shit talk better fool. But on the serial, the BRZ is a better buy than the 10 series (unless you have a hard on for the color) and I bought my BRZ before the 10 series came along. Oh yeah and this is Subaru #5 for me, kinda have a preference for them.
It's the SAME FUCKING CAR. The only difference is convenient features.

And what is so bad about telling people you drive a Scion? Again, it's the SAME FUCKING CAR! They drive, handle, and pretty much look the exact same.

This isn't a **** measuring competition. Scion-Toyota-Subaru, it really doesn't matter. GTFO.

That's cause Pontiac and Chevy are known to be branches of GM... Subaru and Toyota are known as being 2 completely different companies.

Truth and truth. I'm glad that Toyota wanted the car because had they not I wouldn't have bought another Subaru.

Truthfully? I'd rather not drive a vehicle wearing brand engineering exercise badge, I don't care for the Scion manufactured brand image. I'm also no toyota man, in fact I tend to strongly dislike Toyota's. Combined with the fact that the scion didn't have the features I wanted (Bi-xenons and Keyless start) was more common, was a Scion, will likely be wrecked more and have higher insurance rates the decision was fairly easy.

Do I dislike the FR-S? Hell no, I do wish that it had been badged as Toyota here just as it is everywhere else and that Toyota would just give up on "youth marketing". But I'm very well awre that the BRZ and the FR-S are at their core the same car, however the BRZ is (IMO) the better version of said car.

But that's just, like, my opinion man.

In short I'd drive a Subaru before I'd drive a Toyota and I'd drive a Toyota before I'd drive a Scion. Because reasons.

Personally, I prefer my cars to be devoid of convenience features and luxuries. I like the raw feel. It's the American muscle car side of me I can't shake off. Buying this car was totally unexpected, but now that its blown I enjoy it.

Edit: I could care less what badges are on it as long as it feeds my ego. Lol

Which is why it has a Subaru derived flat four cylinder, and the suspension bits mirror other Subarus, and all the enginnering mule prototypes were subaru cars, and the engineering teams that designed the mechanicals were composed of (primarily) Subaru engineers.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The only parts of this car that are Toyota are:
1) The styling
2) The transmission
3) The rear differential
4) The dual injection system
5) The general "spirit" of the car

It is a true joint effort car, without either company the car would be very different than it is and probably not as good (if all toyota) or non-existant entirely (if all subaru). But don't kid yourself, the lions share of the engineering that went into the car was/is Subaru derived, which is exactly what Toyota intended.
