to be quite honest, i haven't.
I dunno, but I bet they could figure something out.
They are pretty well-paid, right?
They're designing this engine specifically for this application, right? (by application, I mean the car, not the supercharger)
I bet if that's what they wanted to do, they could figure something out.. but then, I know about nothing in this area, and it might be impossible for many reasons I don't know.

If Toyota makes this anything other than Toyota, they will kill sales.
Don't put the Camaro so close to that POS, please.

K, this Hawkeye STI's engine bay

Now behind the alternator is intake manifold (red thing) and throttle body. So that means they gotta put it on left or right side like this:

When you do that, gotta change throttle body area & throttle cable length.... but of course they can make Raptor Supercharger style:

Like I said, there may always be options but that is up for speculation as well. Good throttle response on a turbo is basically having it rev'd high at all times, effectively killing the engines life span. Toyota wouldn't want that either. Curious to see how they play this one out.
S/c not worth it come on man my sc added 100 whp. Give or take a little but it was definitely worth it. I've never had a turbo but I love the low end torque of my s/c.

What vehicle is your s/c in? I thought about the TRD s/c for my Taco and even found some online for $2500!

They're both underwhelming POS in my opinion, but the Mustang has earned its place as a best seller and for having a Top 10 ranked engine, Camaro has yet to earn it's place.

GM really screwed up when they made the new camaro as heavy as a mid-sized SUV. And what ever success they are enjoying for now will be eliminated once the "coyote" powered 5.0s go into the mustang for MY2011.

Meh. Well, the new Camaros look nice.. but I'm really in love with the old 'maros.
It's a shame EVERYTHING is heavy now...

Edit: You guys think the mustang having a better motor is gonna kill 'maro sales? The new 'maros don't sell because of their performance specs. The mustang's engine has nothing to do with the nostalgia of the Camaro nameplate. That's what sells these cars.

Call me noob on muscle car, but isn't old camaro was heavy too (3,040~3,295 lbs)? IIRC having 427 big block v8 isn't really light. It's like saying GD series got heavier than GC series. It come with age isn't it. lol

It comes with age... yeah, I guess.
Well, even if it was heavy, it was still a nice rig. I don't know too much about the new camaros other than how they look, but I like the look of those old-schoolers more than most anything else.. and they're fun to drive, too.
I'm all for lightweight corner monster, but I can't say no to a nice muscle car either..
