It was awesome!

Oh...and that's on all stock equipment.

Crap guys. All but Josh got moved to the drivers school again. States we are in the Advanced Group but WTH... I though after a school day you were good for HPDE. Oh well, this should get us into the HPDE group next time. I need to email Tracy and see if we need to do the classroom on Thursday night again.

You only need to go through the class once unless the instructor didn't mark you as being ok to drive. If I remember correctly.

I requested the switch out of HPDE after talking with my insurance carrier. For some reason they were reluctant to cover me participating in anything with the words "High Performance" in the title. They were OK with Advanced Group Driver Education so fine, I went with it.

When I emailed Tracy for the change I also asked about a ground school waiver since I attended the 8/8 class and she said yes.

Planning ahead, there's a combined Porsche/BMW club track day on Saturday, October 5th. It would be fun to have FR-S representation there and the Porsche club members are a great group to hang with.

Tracy just responded and said no one is allowed to jump from Novice to HPDE. I think after the advanced group we are good to go.

Only Josh is still in HPDE. You've already been moved to advanced. I emailed Tracy and was told I don't need to attend the ground school tonight and reading the email we received yesterday it appears they've now revised the language to read ground school is mandatory for novice group which we are not.

Reviewing listed attendees, I think the Advanced Group has the more interesting assortment of high performance cars this time. We'll have two 993's, a 911 S/C, RX-7/8's and Camaros including a ZL1 to play with and of course three of us.

We'll be fine...even if my Instructor does weigh 250 lbs.

I'm bringing an umbrella, could come in handy during the driver's meeting and morning sessions.

What sort of fuel burn did everyone experience last time? I was surprised to use about 9 gals. according to the Ultra Gauge even after finishing the last stint early due to brake issues. Maybe it was my robust Instructor's weight but thought I'd start with a full tank tomorrow.

I used all my gas down to empty. I did use a little the day before so probably 90% of my tank. I'll have to pay more attention so I don't get stuck at the track.

Right? I'm filling up the day off! When does every one want to meet up?
