What kind of phone do you have? I would have thought most people would have just used a USB cable plugged into the dash like me? I use a short cable with my EVO 4G LTE, and just leave it sitting in the little try underneath the HVAC controls.

Galaxy Nexus. I prefer to use a Motorola cigeratte lighter/car charger because it's much faster charging since I'm draining the battery using Bluetooth and/or navigation.

Can you show how Option2 opens and how it mounts to the factory console please?
Thanks

Nice, I ended up just ordering a custom one but this one looks like what I wanted all along. Looking forward to seeing the production version.

Thought about this also... Still don't have clean vision about mounting it without screws, but will have this in mind

For both options, isn't the arm rest gonna rattle while driving?

Why should it?

Bottom of the armrest will fit into the center console - and sit tight around whole perimeter. Bottom of the armrest will be covered in soft padding - so it will not rattle or make any other noises...

If you take closer look at the photo - you will see what im talking about.

So the armrest covers the top of the console? It doesn't open into it?

Huh? Option 2 will open up to the passenger side. Once closed - it will sit on top of the console, with half of the armrest fitting tight into the center console.

Cant really understand what you mean with "It doesn't open into it?" part...
