Just got these install about a few hours ago. So far the ride seem a bit stiffer than stock. Suprisingly it's not bouncy. I hit up a few corners in a empty lot behind my workplace and the car feels very grounded. Also install both front and rear cusco strut. I will be taking the car out to the track this Friday so I'll report by then.

werid question, but we just want to see how it compares to the stock ones.

we ordered sportlines and apparently it didn't come with new bumpstops

You might contact Eibach directly about the missing bump stops.

Does the car really drop 1 1/4 inch? Can it be less if i remove excess weight in the car?

Ummm... I put the actual drop information right in the first post and yes, it was accurate. (I didn't lie, if that is what you are actually asking)

Removing weight from the car might slightly affect the drop, but you would have to lose a LOT of weight from the front of the car to affect that measurement and I don't know where you would find the parts to remove. Maybe the engine?

I would suggest going with different springs if you don't want a 1 1/4" front drop.

if that drop bothers you, why don't you just get the pro-kit instead of the sportlines....?? or any other lowering spring lol the sportlines are one of the lowest

Dont get me wrong, i love/want that drop. Its just that i measured the dip in the drive way and it looks like im right at the 1 1/4 drop if not on it. I just wanted to know if the info on springs was dead on so i could do a make shift platform on the dip while waiting for my springs.

IMO, it still feel the same. Had it since October and 2 track days. Some bumps does feel a lot harder now then it did before but the ride isn't bouncy.

I just received my Sportlines yesterday. I found a place that will install them but here's what they're telling me:

I will need a camber kit. I should not install any spring without a camber kit. If this is true, what do you all recommend? I'm really trying not to spend too much money. It's already $200 for the spacers and $240 for the Sportline. I'm sure it'll be another $250ish for install. That's a $700 project already. Do I need both front and rear cambers?

Also, the auto shop is telling me that I need to get the allignment the day that I get the springs put on, and that costs $90. Is that BS? I've read everywhere that you're supposed to wait about 2-4 weeks before your first allignment. This mechanic was swearing otherwise.

Personally I'd like to just be able to have the Sportline installed and be done with it. If there's going to be much more to this project then I might just sell the springs and not stress myself with it. I don't want my tires needing to be replaced every 3 months or having my tired rotated every 400 miles. That's just too much crap to worry about instead of me just being able to enjoy my ride.

Bottom line, what exactly do I need in order to not mess up my car with these springs?

Looks like a drop and wheels will have to come very close together because the stockers look tiny when this car is lowered. This is definitely minimum drop for myself, looks a million times better than stock
