Isn't engine oil basically a carcinogen and it's typically recommended to use work gloves while handling it?

Heavier weight oil interval change

Have a look around this forum for some used oil analyses. UOA’s are posted on this forum under tracked conditions going even beyond the manufacturers recommended intervals.

Welp, that depends upon whether or not you are a mouse. If you are a mouse and bath for 365 days or longer in used motor oil, you may get cancer.

My abstract of one abstract from one scientific study says:

"Long-term exposure (365 days or longer) of the skin to used mineral-based crankcase oil causes skin cancer in mice."
